Schulmedia.ch has been operating in the canton of Obwalden since 2006. This day school, designed for a maximum of thirty pupils, operates at a high level of school development. Thanks to its own transport service, the school is easily accessible for pupils from Nidwalden. The slogan "learning rocks" is the program and reflects one of the core messages of the school concept: we know that learning has been an everyday, cross-school and cross-curricular process that drives curiosity since birth. Integrating this curiosity and enthusiasm into everyday school life is the school's aspiration. In doing so, schulmedia.ch is guided by the latest empirical and neuropsychological findings.

In this context, the individual approach and action orientation play a central role. The mixed-age and cross-level learning of the primary and orientation school is the basis for the work in interdisciplinary skills, which is a fundamental feature of Schulmedia.  

Children and young people with partial performance deficits or bullying situations often find their way to schulmedia.ch. It is important that pupils can develop optimally both professionally and personally in a family environment.
