As a trained bricklayer, I have been self-employed for almost 25 years. From the very beginning, I found renovating houses, especially old ones, much more exciting than building new ones. Over the years, I became increasingly curious about how old houses were built. I began to study the old methods and became increasingly convinced that old houses simply "tick" differently than new buildings and therefore need to be renovated with special care. I studied lime in various courses at Ballenberg, Lanatherm, Marrakesh, and Venice (lime plaster, lime smoothing on walls and floors, tadelakt) and completed a course in Germany to become a clay builder.

With this wealth of knowledge and even more curiosity, I look forward to ever new challenges to continuously expand my knowledge and skills.
