Oil heating systems
Oil heating systems in year-round operation must be cleaned twice a year. For winter heating systems (operation of the oil heating system only during the winter months), the oil heating system must be cleaned once a year.

Gas-fired heating systems
Gas-fired heating systems must be checked and cleaned once a year by the chimney sweep (room-sealed systems every two years). According to the SVGW, the G205 certificate is required for inspection and cleaning work on gas-fired heating systems.

Logwood, wood pellet and wood chip heating systems
We generally recommend having them cleaned twice a year.

Fireplace stoves and fireplaces
Cleaning interval at least every 5 years, depending on use.

Tiled stoves, cooking stoves, portable stoves
If your wood-fired tiled stove, cooking stove or portable stove is actively used, we recommend cleaning at least every two years.
