Description
About us
AllGeol AG, Geologie Altlasten Umwelt, was founded in 2003 and is based in Winterthur. It is the successor company of Moser and Blanc, Consulting Geologists, which was founded in 1977 in Winterthur. With the addition of Mr. A. Taferner as co-owner, who has been working in Winterthur since 1989, it was expanded in 1997 to become Moser, Blanc + Partner, Consultants for Geology, Contaminated Sites and Environmental Issues. Following the retirement of Dr. B. Blanc, AllGeol AG was founded in 2003 as part of a company restructuring.
Description & Special features
Geology / Geotechnics
The properties of the subsoil can have a major impact on the cost of a construction project, regardless of whether it is a single-family home, a complex residential development, industrial buildings or a high-rise. It is therefore important to clarify the subsoil conditions as early as possible during the planning stage. Our services include the following key areas:
Subsoil forecasts
Subsoil investigations
Organization of soundings
Execution of dynamic probing
Recording and interpretation of exploratory drillings and Excavator sounding shafts
Advisory services for engineers and architects
Geological construction supervision during the construction phase
Contaminated sites
Contaminated sites pose a considerable potential risk when acquiring and selling or using and developing land or when demolishing buildings. Reductions in value, construction delays and high disposal costs are often to be expected. Timely and careful clarifications create planning, legal and cost certainty for the customer.
Our core competencies in the treatment of contaminated sites lie in the following areas:
"Private inspection" specialists in the canton of Zurich
Preliminary investigation (historical and technical investigation)
Assessment with regard to hazard potential and remediation requirements
Detailed investigation
Remediation concepts / measures for remediating contaminated sites
Specialist site management (support for remediation during deconstruction and excavation work)
Triage / separation of excavation and deconstruction material with regard to treatment, treatment, recycling or landfill
Monitoring of contaminated sites
Follow-up care / measurement campaigns
Investigation and remediation of shooting ranges
Property assessments
Expert reports and second opinions
Geothermal energy
The use of natural geothermal energy, from the ground or groundwater, is a promising and environmentally friendly technology that is becoming increasingly important. Geothermal probes are often used to extract heat. Groundwater can also be used for heating and cooling purposes. The consulting geologist submits the drilling application, supervises the necessary drilling work and ensures that the official requirements are met.
Support with the approval process (application and implementation support
Geothermal probes - hydrogeological reports
Support and recording of boreholes
Profiling / documentation
Supervision of short and long-term pumping tests
Heat and cold utilization of groundwater
Groundwater modelling with GED and HydroTec
Dimensioning of extraction and Return wells
Soil
Soil is defined as the uppermost, intermixed and vitalized layer of soil, consisting of topsoil and subsoil. Soil compaction caused by heavy agricultural and construction machinery can hardly be reversed, as the formation of new soil takes a very long time. After large-scale soil interventions due to construction projects and terrain changes, the site must be recultivated. When planning and executing such projects, it is advisable or, depending on the requirements of the authorities, mandatory to consult a pedological construction supervision (BBB). Some cantons also keep a register of areas where soil pollution is to be expected (Canton of Zurich: Test perimeter for soil displacement (PBV); Canton of Thurgau: Soil pollution information map (HKB)). In the course of planned construction projects, it is often necessary to carry out pollutant tests on soil material in advance.
Pollutant investigations for entries in the PBV, HKB
Soil displacement expert
Soil science construction supervision (BBB)
