My practice
The practice for Traditional Chinese Medicine is centrally located in the pedestrian zone of Winterthur's old town. The train and bus or the Technikum parking garage are just a few minutes away.
The practice rooms are located on the 3rd floor. There is an elevator at your disposal. The generous space offers you the desired comfort before and during treatment. Thanks to the restful and relaxed atmosphere, you can recharge your batteries for everyday life.<About me
I was born and grew up in Nanning in the southern Chinese province of Guangxi. The landscape with the Sugarloaf Mountains and the Li River near the city of Guilin in the north of my home province is world-famous. The sky-high rice terraces near Sanjiang are also attracting more and more visitors from all over the world.
I come from an old family of scholars, my father is a dentist with his own practice, my mother is a biologist and my siblings also studied medicine. I myself studied and practiced conventional medicine and traditional Chinese medicine at Guangxi Medical University in Nanning.
I have lived in Switzerland for 30 years. I started my family here. I worked in various TCM practices for several years. I was able to gain a lot of experience and benefit from the knowledge of older TCM doctors from China. This is certainly also the huge advantage of my Chinese mother tongue: I can easily exchange professional information with other TCM specialists, whether here in Switzerland or in China. During my stays in China, I completed further training and internships. Thanks to my knowledge of German, I can treat you without an interpreter, which not only makes conversations more accurate and efficient, but also more personal.Chinese medicine has fascinated me since my studies, because it is much more than just a profession for me. My goal is to be able to help as many people as possible with TCM, to relieve pain and to show that acupuncture and Chinese medicine are serious healing methods and sciences that should be taken seriously.
About TCM
Traditional Chinese Medicine - your path to well-being
Traditional Chinese medicine is a form of therapy that uses targeted stimuli to stimulate the self-healing of the body. Ancient Chinese healers recognized early on that a healthy mind is a prerequisite for a healthy body, as the two are inextricably linked.
With over three thousand years of history, TCM is considered the oldest and most famous holistic art of healing in the world. As a naturopathy, it is used in China on an equal footing with Western medicine, so-called conventional medicine.
In today's high-tech world, holistic knowledge is often no longer available to people.Complicated treatment methods, which are often one-sided and have numerous side effects, are the result of Western medicine often being over-specialized. Chinese naturopathy is a useful addition here, as it looks at the whole body and not just individual symptoms during diagnosis and treatment.

Methods
Overview of the most common methods

Acupuncture
Acupuncture influences bodily functions via specific points on the surface of the body. The needles are inserted to varying depths at over 360 acupuncture points to balance the circulation of Qi and regulate certain organ systems.
<
Healing herbs
The 400 most commonly used Chinese medicines are usually prescribed as complex formulations; the ingredients are finely tuned to each other in order to optimally adapt the mixture to the patient.
Heat treatment (moxa)
Moxibustion warms the acupuncture points by burning dried leaves of Artemisia vulgaris (mugwort). Mugwort is a medicinal plant that is native to both Asia and Europe.
<Cupping
Cupping involves stimulating the meridians with cupping glasses. Cupping therapy is particularly suitable for treating the outer layers such as muscles and skin.
