Welcome to what is probably the smallest optician's shop in Winterthur and also the tallest master optician in the city (6 feet tall)!

My name is Björn Matthäi. In 2001, I completed my training as an optician EFZ. This was followed by further training as a certified optician in Munich. Since 2007, I have been running the specialist optician's shop winti vision in the heart of Winterthur's old town.

In the meantime, I have completed a postgraduate Master of Science in Vision Science and Business (Optometry) at the University of Aalen (Germany). This was carried out in cooperation with Pacific University in Portland (Oregon, USA) and the New England College of Optometry in Boston (Massachusetts, USA).

I decided very early on to open my own optician's shop and am convinced that I can always offer my customers the best possible solution. It goes without saying that the best solution does not have to be the most expensive one.

Providing expert and in-depth advice is my top priority—regardless of whether you buy something or not.
