Plastic is not a disposable product

Plastic food packaging has a short lifespan—only 4 to 6 weeks from production to disposal. Plastic is a valuable raw material that should not simply be incinerated. Through targeted collection, sorting by type, and further processing, plastics can be recycled several times. This conserves resources and reduces greenhouse gases.

 

The "Bring Plastic Back" collection system offers the opportunity to collect household plastics in chargeable collection bags and thus send them for recycling. Our goal is to offer a comprehensive, consumer-friendly plastic collection service throughout Switzerland. We want to close material cycles so that packaging can be turned back into packaging – from shelf to shelf.
