Founded in 1836, the Landbote is the daily newspaper for the city and region of Winterthur. From Monday to Saturday, Der Landbote reports extensively on Winterthur and the topics of Switzerland, foreign affairs, business and sport. Together with the Zürcher Oberländer, the Zürcher Unterländer and the Zürichsee-Zeitung, Der Landbote forms the newspaper association Zürcher Regionalzeitungen, which works together with the BZ Berner Zeitung in international and national reporting. Der Landbote is part of the Swiss media group Tamedia.
