Geburtshaus ambra GmbH

The ambra birthing center (Listenspital BL, BS), founded in 2004, is taking a break.

Franziska Zumbrunn and the team at the ambra birthing center have supported over 1,000 couples, women, and births. A growing shortage of midwives, combined with a serious illness affecting our director Franziska Zumbrunn, has meant that we are unable to keep the birthing center running. We are all very sorry that the ambra birth center has had to close its doors. We will be happy to provide further information should a reopening be on the cards.
