*Pest infestations have nothing to do with hygiene.  - When faced with a pest infestation, people often wonder whether it has something to do with cleanliness. We can reassure you that in most cases, pests and vermin are not your fault. They often come from outside or are brought in from vacation. The cliché that pests are related to poor cleanliness is becoming increasingly outdated.

*Do it yourself - The internet and even newspapers advertise home remedies for various types of pests and vermin. Some of these are helpful and useful, while others are useless or even dangerous. Caution is advised, as some methods only give the appearance of improvement, allowing the population of certain animals to spread unnoticed and wasting valuable time.

* In the food sector - Regular visits by pest control experts are booked as a preventive measure during the processing and marketing of food. This allows the early detection of unwanted animals. Individual animals are identified before they become visible or audible. This prevents a population from developing.

* Beneficial insects vs. pests - The difference between beneficial insects and pests is often very small, yet crucial for humans. In most cases, the decisive factor is simply where they are found. For example, while mice and cockroaches are pests in the home and pose a hygiene risk, they are extremely useful in nature and would limit their own numbers without human presence due to the limited food supply. Bees can also be considered pests. These insects, which are generally very popular for their honey, can cause very unpleasant feelings in a children's garden shed, for example. For this reason, they are relocated whenever possible.

* Avoid using poison where possible -&nbsp ;It is important to us to avoid using poison wherever possible. Of course, it is also important to ensure that the procedure can be carried out at a cost agreed with the customer. Many animals can be controlled with minimal use of poison or without poison at all. In some cases, the animals can also be relocated, primarily wasps, hornets, martens, and bees. These are released at a sufficient distance from settlements.

* Exterminators/pest controllers then and now – Originally, the term "exterminator" was used to describe a hunter who was in the personal service of the king. Pest infestations were particularly common in chambers during the Middle Ages. Today, when an infestation has already occurred, the pest controller inspects the affected premises, selects the appropriate control method, and implements the measures in an environmentally conscious manner. All measures and substances used are documented in detail. Not so long ago, the concept of pest control was almost inseparably linked to the use of poison. Today, the principlesof integrated pest control are generally applied. The core tasks of the pest controller lie in the areas of prevention and monitoring/surveillance. When combating pests, ways and means are sought to avoid the use of poison wherever possible.

* Emergency services - We work closely with the emergency services in the region. In several municipalities, we are the first point of contact for the police and fire department. We respond to insect emergency calls made to the emergency numbers. Thanks to our training, we can relieve the organizations of these additional tasks.

* Rodents - Mice and rats pose a hygiene problem in connection with food. They can also cause damage to buildings by gnawing. If you see or hear these animals or their effects, rapid action is required due to their rapidly growing population. Harmful in the home, useful in nature. This is because, among other things, they distribute seeds and recycle waste.

* Ants - If nothing is safe in the kitchen anymore or the terrace can no longer be used because it is swarming with ants, something must be done. Despite their excellent qualities as garbage collectors in the wild, these animals can cause damage not only in the living area but also in the garden. For example, they breed (and milk) aphids, which in turn can destroy your garden plants.  

* Cockroaches - Forest cockroaches occasionally stray into buildings, but cannot survive there. These diurnal cockroaches should not be confused with their nocturnal relatives. Kitchen cockroaches, also known as cockroaches, flee from light. Their contamination can transmit pathogens and trigger allergic reactions. It is necessary to combat them as quickly as possible.

* Wasps - Wasps can be annoying or even frightening in residential areas. There are over 600 species of wasps in Central Europe. Only two species of wasps are considered dangerous and attack meat and sweets. However, other species also defend their nests if someone comes too close. Relocation can therefore always be considered.

* Relocating bee colonies -&nbsp ;In spring and summer, bee colonies can swarm. This means that part of the colony splits off and looks for a new habitat. These swarms behave peacefully. Nevertheless, they are impractical in gardens, on fruit trees, or in store boxes. We do our utmost to ensure that bees can be relocated and do not have to be destroyed.

* Wild bee analysis - More and more often, habitats for wild bees are being planned and created in public places or private gardens. Whether wild bees settle there depends on a variety of factors that cannot be conclusively determined.
