In addition to basic conventional medicine, my main focus is on Chinese medicine: acupuncture, laser acupuncture, herbs, auricular medicine/ear acupuncture, meditative movement exercises, and dietetics.
Common treatments in my practice include:
Headaches, migraines, back pain, disorders and pain of the musculoskeletal system, including the consequences of accidents, pregnancy complaints, birth preparation, gynecological diseases, digestive complaints, skin diseases, allergies, including hay fever, frequent recurrent infections, respiratory diseases, viral infections, and eye diseases. Tension syndromes, sleep disorders, psychosomatic complaints, states of exhaustion and weakness, smoking cessation.
The WHO recommendations for diseases and disorders that experience has shown can be treated well with acupuncture/TCM can be found here. The list is not exhaustive, but is intended to highlight the diverse effects of TCM.
Why use "Chinese" medicine at all in this day and age of high-tech medicine, genetics, MRI, and computer tomography?
The most important principle of Chinese medicine is: "Connection is the root of life." Perceiving and strengthening this connection to the source and enabling harmonious flow in balance has a decisive influence on our health. Recognizing obstacles and disharmonies and, as far as possible, turning them to the better is the art of Chinese medicine. In this sense, Chinese medicine is personalized precision medicine and highly relevant today.
