Authentication of a signature
When authenticating signatures, the notary verifies the identity of the person signing and certifies that the signature originates from the person signing. This is necessary, for example, when the authorisation to sign is deposited with the Commercial Register Office for the first time (Art. 18 para. 2 HRegV).
A signature authenticated by our notaries and deposited with us can also be authenticated in absentia (i.e. without the person being present) on the basis of Section 30 para. 2 of the Zug Notarisation Act, if this person agrees to the authentication in individual cases (so-called remote authentication of the signature).
As a rule, we offer signature authentication for CHF 40.00. We will gladly inform you about the details and requirements of signature authentications. You can reach us on +41 41 711 88 41 and info@wysslaw.ch.
