Gautschi Optik Zürich AG was founded in Lausanne in 1878 . Today, the company at Uraniastrasse 7 in Zurich is run by Andreas Gauschi, certified optician SBAO, in the 5th generation.
A large oak table stands in the middle of the store and invites customers and passers-by to try on the latest collections.

Andy Wolf
Andy Wolf glasses are made of natural cellulose, which makes the frames made in Austria very light and dimensionally stable. Andy Wolf is an eyewear collection that sets international trends. The frames feel much more comfortable on the skin than ordinary plastic glasses. These acetate glasses are of exceptionally high quality. During production, the frames are milled with a CNC machine and later polished for several hours, giving the frame a beautiful shine.

Blac
Blac eyewear is made of carbon, titanium and nylon. Blac sets high standards for quality. It is 80% a men's collection for the sporty, elegant man who wants to wear a light and stable frame with the most modern materials.

The somewhat more striking but still very light frames are made of nylon. The nylon material is unbreakable, 40 percent lighter than plastic and retains its shape. Two new models  are also available as sunglasses.

Bellinger
Bellinger are colorful glasses that are anything but boring. Bright colors and different patterns adorn the temples and the front. A collection for the woman who sees her glasses as a fashion accessory with which she not only wants to see well but also look good.

Coblens
A very young collection that is already setting trends. Their specialties are light, fine and very large titanium frames, often golden and silvery. The airport inspires the design of Coblens. The glasses all have a special name such as flight attendant, oxygen mask, highway triangle... etc. Coblens will be a trend of tomorrow,  with titanium eyewear of high quality, light, stable and unique.

Chopard
A very elegant collection. The Chopard glasses are set with Swarovski crystals that sparkle like real diamonds.

Face à Face
Face A FACE glasses come from France. Colorful, bold and unmistakable. Handmade in France. In metal, titanium and acetate, these beautiful shapes with the sometimes cheeky colors are often suitable for everyday wear too. The French flair is expressed well!

Marienfeld
This, one of the few eyewear frame manufacturers in Switzerland, produces its specialties in Valais. Titanium and horn-rimmed glasses are made by hand with the utmost precision. Collector's items that are timelessly simple and of high quality  On request in gold or platinum instead of titanium. If you like a pair of glasses, but would like them to be a little larger or smaller, they can be custom-made. So you can have a unique pair of glasses made by hand in Switzerland.

Masunaga
Masunaga glasses are manufactured to the highest quality in Japan. The acetate sheets (made of cellulose, a natural product) are stored like a good wine for a few years before the frames are cut out of them. This means that the frames retain their shape for a very long time during wear and hardly need to be straightened. Masunaga has been the eyewear supplier to the Japanese Emperor for many years. It therefore goes without saying that the quality standards for these frames are very high.

Orgreen
Orgreen glasses come from Denmark. As people in northern Europe are known to be a little taller than ours they were already producing them there before the trend towards large glasses. When the manufacturers recognized the new trend, Orgeen was already ready and had a great collection of coloured titanium glasses. Big colored trendy. Suddenly the North was stealing the show from the fashion capitals in the South. Titanium eyewear for men for whom every frame is too small.

Paul & Joe
Paul & Joe is an eyewear brand from France, beautiful colored plastic frames for narrow faces. At Paul & Joe, young ladies in particular who find all frames a little too wide will find a beautiful and large selection. Subtle, often bold colors from black to the entire color spectrum. Very trendy shapes for various head sizes. Lightweight, beautifully made, often with a little surprise on the inside of the temple, only visible to the wearer. Rolf wooden glasses
Wooden glasses come from Austria. There are already some wooden glasses on the eyewear market, but only one that is consistently made entirely of wood, even for the hinges. The wooden temples can be folded in. The glasses have no screws but a unique technique with which the glasses are fixed almost invisibly. The various woods such as cherry wood, oak wood etc. give the Rolf glasses the desired color. A one hundred percent natural product. Rolf glasses are very light and comfortable to wear. They are available in many modern shapes. In the Rolf eyewear collection there are also three special models that are combined with stone. A fine layer of slate stone gives the glasses an incomparable appearance. Silhouette frames are among the lightest eyewear in the world. But not only are they very light, they also manage without a single screw. These frames from Austria are mainly made of titanium and reduced to the minimum. The frames are rimless. The lenses are attached to the frame without screws using a patented system so that they can never come loose on their own. In other words, very light and reliable glasses. The shape of the glasses can be freely chosen. We can grind any conceivable shape of glasses. Narrower higher wider etc... we always have various patterns in stock. Maui Jim sunglasses, for  optimal protection against glare! Sporty sunglasses with an incredibly good sun protection lens. All lenses are polarized and partly slightly mirrored. Maui Jim sunglasses don't give the sun a chance. The lenses are unbreakable and very light. Invented and produced in Hawaii, Maui Jim sunglasses are conquering the whole world.
