• 1882:   founded as a shoe store and mail order business
• Since 1910: domiciled on Oberdorfstrasse
• 1939: discontinuation of the mail order business due to the rationing of shoe purchasing rights
• 1945: since this year, the business has been run as a "service business" by the 3rd generation to this day
• 1960: the hiking/mountain boot area was expanded
• Since 1970: we have stocked one of the largest selections of Mephisto shoes in Switzerland
in addition to a large selection of men's and women's comfort shoes
