Restaurant Milano, a Mediterranean oasis: a piece of history in Chreis Cheib

The Milano restaurant and pizzeria has been located at Militärstrasse 109 for more than 40 years. The vibrant "Chreis Cheib" district has changed over the years, but Milano is still there after all this time. With a new owner for the past 20 years, the pizzeria somehow belongs on this street. We have created a small Mediterranean oasis in this noisy neighborhood. Our terrace invites you to linger and forget that you are in the middle of the hectic Kreis 4 district.

We offer fresh Mediterranean dishes for lunch and dinner. Our specialties are our spelt flour pizzas, but also our antipasti, fresh pasta dishes, and our risotto. Our fast lunch service is especially popular with schoolchildren, students, and professionals in the area.

 

 

FAMILY BUSINESS

We are a family-run restaurant. That makes us authentic. It is important to us to build a relationship with our guests. We want everyone to feel comfortable, and every guest can contact us directly if they have any ideas, suggestions, or criticism.

We are always open to special requests.

 

OUR PATRON

Muzi is our "original" father. Those who know him know that Muzi likes to talk a lot and loves to entertain guests with his anecdotes. He also has many stories that he has collected during his more than 30 years in the restaurant business.

 

CHEF DE CUISINE

Our chef is a true Milanese. He learned his craft from his mother. Fabio has been cooking passionately for Milano for several years and is therefore also part of our family.
