BABU GmbH Büro für Altlasten, Boden und Umwelt (Office for Contaminated Sites, Soil, and Environment) is an independent consulting and planning company operating throughout Switzerland.

BABU GmbH was founded in 1996 as part of a management buyout (MBO) of the "Contaminated Sites, Soil" profit center of the former Electrowatt Engineering AG (EWE).

We began specializing in soil and contaminated site issues as early as the beginning of the 1990s. We are now one of the leading providers of planning, consulting, and construction management services in all matters relating to chemical and physical environmental pollution.

Thanks to the in-depth qualifications, interdisciplinary approach, and many years of experience of our employees, we are able to propose solutions that are optimal in terms of both technology and cost. We are accustomed to continuously adapting our services to current customer needs and to acting professionally in the area of conflict between building owners, other planners, contractors, and supervisory authorities.

BABU GmbH has been ISO 9001:2000 certified since June 4, 2004.

Since January 1, 2009, we have been using 100% green electricity! In this way, we promote the renovation and construction of energy generation plants in accordance with the highest ecological criteria.

In individual specialist areas, the cantonal supervisory authorities or professional associations grant special powers and authorizations to qualified experts.
