Brechbühl School - A tradition in Geneva since 1875

Our mission is to ensure the children who are entrusted to us academic success and personal development. A traditional and benevolent pedagogy for the benefit of the 200 children, aged 3 to 12 years old, distributed in our classes from Pre-K to 8th grade. The emphasis is on learning foreign languages from an early age. The focus is on learning foreign languages from an early age. Under the watchful eye of certified and native teachers, learning English begins at 3 years old and German from 4th primary. Our structure favors learning in small groups of students and an individualized approach. Beyond the fundamentals (French and mathematics), we support students throughout a school curriculum of excellence. We provide a curiculum respecting the Pan d'Etude Romand and our students obtain excellent results in the Cantonal Reference Tests and Cambridge exams taken in 5P and 8P. Thanks to a family atmosphere, favoring individual listening to the pupil and his parents, it gives children a taste for a job well done, because it is well understood and well assimilated. Originally open to children of the great Protestant families of Geneva, the Brechbühl School today welcomes children of all nationalities and religions. However, it perpetuates the traditions and values specific to the Spirit of Geneva: tolerance, respect for others, sense of responsibility, taste for study, in-depth and careful work. The School is a member of the Geneva Association of Private Schools, with Swiss School Impulse certification.
