We will give you information about the possibilities for correction, the timeframe, the duration of treatment and the approximate cost. If a jaw or tooth adjustment appears to be necessary, sensible or desired, the next step would be to prepare the appropriate orthodontic planning documentation, such as photos, models of the jaw, as well as special digital x-rays and, if necessary, 3D images. This orthodontic examination is the pre-requisite for establishing an individual treatment plan and includes additional appointments for personal and detailed discussions with you or with parents and their child. During this session , you will receive a written cost estimate for the treatment. You will also be advised about the possibility of covering part of the cost with supplementary insurance.
