ECAP is a non-commercial and non-profit adult education institute in Switzerland. Headquartered in Zurich, there are nine regional branches throughout Switzerland. With its courses, the intercultural organisation enables the education of migrants and employees in general, including those with little formal education. With more than 50,000 participants per year, ECAP is the second largest adult education institute in Switzerland – and the number one school for German and integration courses. Our main activities are: • Courses for the achievement of professional qualification (Art. 33 of the BBG) for construction (bricklayers, plasterer, painter), for sales (detail trade specialist EFZ and retail trade assistant EBA), as well as for metalworkers and blind fitters • Refresher courses for architects, engineers, designers etc. with AutoCAD • Refresher courses in the hotel and catering industry («The ABCs of the hotel industry and catering») • Business management, in cooperation with the Vocational and Trade School (SPAI) in Trevano • Computer science courses (introduction and consolidation in Word, Excel, Access, Internet, PowerPoint) with the possibility of obtaining the «European Computer Driving Licence» (ECDL) • Professional language courses (German and English in sales or commercial areas) with the possibility of obtaining the respective telc certificates • Literacy courses in cooperation with the Association Leggere & Scrivere della Svizzera italiana • Founding of company • Atelier TRI, application techniques for unemployed persons • Italian language courses in various municipalities, with the possibility of obtaining CELI certificates • «Preparatory Examination Courses» for electrical and masonry apprentices, in cooperation with Unia. Die Bénédict-Schule hat mir sehr viel beigebracht, vor allem habe ich mein Deutsch verbessert und viel viel neues gelernt. Ich bin nur drei Jahre in der Schweiz und damals dachte ich, dass das unheimlich schwer für mich wird, aber ich habe es geschafft und will noch weiter studieren. Bis bald!

At Verbier Language School our aim is to get you out and about and using a language you’re learning as soon as possible.
