ARPAJ du Chablais (Association Réseau des Parents d’Accueil à la Journée) is a non-profit network created by the 9 communes of the Monthey district to organize, coordinate and monitor family-based daytime childcare as an alternative to collective structures like crèches and nurseries. It offers children a stable, secure relationship with a professionally engaged day-care parent in a family setting adapted to each child’s rhythm and the working hours of parents. ARPAJ supports placing parents with help choosing host families, personalized placements, income-based tariffs, and regular follow-up within a structure that complies with child protection regulations.
