Studio Equipment

Based in Yverdon-les-Bains, Studio Equipment is a Swiss company specializing in the design of professional studios, the creation of custom home cinemas, and the sound and acoustic treatment of public spaces. With over 45 years of experience in the field of sound and professional studio design, the company brings recognized expertise to projects where precision, listening comfort, and reliability are essential.

🎧 Custom Professional Studios

Studio Equipment designs and builds various types of studios — recording, mastering, and post-production studios. Each project is based on a comprehensive study that integrates acoustics (soundproofing and interior acoustics), ergonomics, calibration, and the audio system itself, to provide a working environment that is both accurate and pleasant, meeting the highest standards of professional audio.

🎬 Turnkey Home Cinemas

Drawing on expertise from the professional studio world, Studio Equipment (THX certified) creates highly personalized home cinemas — or “Private Cinemas.” Each project is approached holistically to achieve a perfect balance between acoustic quality, visual comfort, and aesthetic integration.

The company also offers access to its demonstration home cinema, allowing clients to experience firsthand the installation possibilities and discover the sound quality, visual rendering, and high level of finish of its creations.

🎵 Sound, Acoustics, and Insulation for Public Spaces

Studio Equipment also operates in the sound design and acoustic treatment of public venues such as theaters, concert halls, restaurants, hotels, bars, clubs, and nightclubs. The company provides complete solutions combining sound diffusion, acoustic treatment, and insulation, ensuring a balanced and controlled ambiance that respects the venue’s identity and technical constraints.
