Riding Courses

General Information

Every year we offer camps during the Easter, summer, and fall breaks.

Every day, children will learn the basics of horseback riding (grooming, care, theory, physical activity, etc.)

Depending on the weather, different topics will be covered each day, such as dressage, ground work, vaulting, gymkhana, trail riding, and jumping.

You can register your children directly online or call us.

For advanced riders—ride freely

For advanced riders, you can come ride your favorite horse without taking lessons.

You have 2 hours to spend with your horse—grooming, pampering, riding, etc.

School - General Information

How does it work?

1️⃣ First contact

Schedule a trial lesson.

This lesson allows us to assess your child’s (or your own!) skill level and introduce them to the riding arena in a relaxed atmosphere.

2️⃣ If you’ve ridden before

During the trial lesson, we’ll assess your skill level.

Then, you have two options:

• Group lessons (50 min) to progress alongside other riders at the same level.

• Private lessons (25 min) for personalized and more intensive instruction.

3️⃣ If you are a complete beginner

We start with lunge lessons (the rider is led by the instructor) to learn the basics safely.

Once you feel comfortable, you’ll move on to a small group (usually two people), and then you can choose to continue:

• private lessons, to progress at your own pace,

• or in group lessons, to benefit from the group dynamic.

Le Manège du Mont welcomes horses to a quiet, well-maintained setting, where every boarder receives daily care.

Our priority: to provide healthy, balanced living conditions tailored to each horse’s needs.

Standard Boarding

Boarding includes:

• a stall cleaned 3 times a day,

• hay distributed twice a day,

• feed three times a day,

• daily monitoring by our team,

• access to our two indoor riding arenas and two outdoor paddocks (depending on the schedule and weather).

Included in the price:

• Access to the pastures

• Parking for one van or truck

• Lockers available

This package meets most needs and provides a safe, clean, and attentive environment for your horse.

Additional services

§We also offer a number of optional services to best suit each horse and your expectations:

• Wood shavings bedding: additional CHF 120.– / month

• Outdoor grazing Monday through Friday, with blanket changes and the application of gaiters or bell boots as needed: additional fee of CHF 130.– per month

• Training Boarding: to be discussed based on the number of days desired

  • Option to lunge the horse every morning from Monday to Friday

  • Preparation for show jumping competitions (exercise, course work, dressage)

  • Conditioning

• Full training board: price upon request

  • Horse training 7 days a week

  • Option to alternate between private lessons and horse training, depending on your needs and those of your horse
