Velo Lang – Contacts & Location
Description
We customize your dream bike....
The owner and legendary frame builder of Velo Lang is Alois Lang. He has been building super-lightweight racing bikes to measure since 1958. In 1963, he opened his own store at Bahnhofstrasse 65 in Romanshorn. The business has its own design department, sandblasting shop and paint shop.
The German national team placed his first major order for custom racing bikes for the entire team in the early 1970s. He led various cycling teams of his own. He designed over 4,000 Mass racing bikes for professionals, amateurs and amateur athletes, including the lightest mountain racing bike for Beat Breu in the early 1980s, weighing less than 7 kilos, which even astonished Eddy Merckx at the Tour de France.
Alois Lang holds the title of "Master Framebuilder" from the internationally renowned tube manufacturer TI Reynolds from Birmingham, England, and is one of ten people in the world officially authorized to process Reynolds tubes of type 753 (a molybdenum-manganese alloy with a tube wall thickness of 0.3 mm). Alois Lang is still active today and has supplied to Switzerland, Germany, Austria, Liechtenstein, France, Italy, Holland, the USA and Australia. To date, over 600 victories have been achieved on LANG racing bikes. We look forward to your visit- English,German,Italian
