Pastry chef with a passion

Giuseppe was born in the bakery, so to speak: at the tender age of 6, he helped his nonno in his pasticceria in Catania and was already a qualified pastry chef at the age of 16. After a few years in a renowned pasticceria in Bergamo in northern Italy, he ran a family business with 20 employees in his home town for 25 years. He came to Switzerland for a planned two years to introduce the Swiss to the art of Italian baking - and stayed because he liked it so much. Giuseppe is happy - he gets to spend every day in the bakery and in the store, putting a smile on his customers' faces. He is a proud dad and Nonno, his son, also works in the family business - so his heart beats equally for Italian cuisine and for his family.
