PROSTHETICS

Prostheses are a functional and cosmetic replacement for missing or amputated limbs and also serve to improve body statics and symmetry.

compression treatment

Compression therapy is considered a basic therapy in the treatment of venous and lymphatic disorders, as well as for the post-treatment of scars. Compressive textiles are also commonly used in the post-operative area of plastic reconstructive surgery

Thrombosis stockings

Light compression stockings for thrombosis prophylaxis, for example during pregnancy and long journeys

Phlebology (venous diseases)

These compression stockings are circular knitted, without a seam. They are available in various compression classes, colors and designs. The supple, elastic knitted fabric promotes blood circulation. These stockings are available in standard sizes or made to measure.

Lymphology

Lymphatic lipoedema (drainage disorders of the lymphatic system, fat distribution disorders).
Stockings are recommended after manual lymphatic drainage. Elastic flat knit materials are mainly used here. These materials enable better anatomical shaping, for example in the hollow of the knee and elbow. Optionally, pads, pockets, zippers etc. can be incorporated. These stockings are available in various compression classes, colors and patterns.
These products are available as custom-made products for the hand, arm, torso and legs.

Burns

Various elastic textiles are used here.
The compression is intended to prevent excessive collagen formation in the scar tissue. Growths, keloids and scar contractures are treated with the targeted use of pressure pads and silicone molded parts. These can be quite rigid. The constant surface pressure allows the scars to heal more quickly and reduces oedema and annoying itching.
These custom-made products are available in various qualities, compression classes and colors.

Scar treatment

After accidents or operations, it may be necessary to apply targeted scar treatment using various elastic textiles and silicone pressure pads.

Postoperative

Compression garments after plastic surgery
Support the layers of the skin and reduce the formation of oedema and haematoma. If possible, this garment should be organized before the operation and brought to the surgery appointment.
The products are available in standard and custom-made versions.

Accessories

Gloves, donning aids, etc. are discussed in detail with the client for each new stocking fitting and tried out if necessary.

Insoles

Insoles are custom-made according to computer-aided analyses.
We differentiate between:

Classic insoles:

are supportive, relieving, mechanically acting foot supports. The foot follows the shape. Its position is passively corrected. The dynamic movement processes can be restricted. These insoles can be used for diabetic foot problems or after operations, for example.

Proprioceptive foot orthoses:

Insoles that influence the foot muscles through muscle pretension and are intended to bring them into a better physiological starting position.

Neuromuscular insoles (NMS)

With neuromuscular insoles (Podo-Orthesen®), the body's own network is used and utilized. By stimulating the foot muscles, the entire posture of the body can be influenced.
The neuromuscular insoles method is based on the theoretical principles of the French neurologist Prof. Dr. René-Jacques Bourdiol, Paris.

BANDAGS

Bandages are used for selective relief, stabilization, muscle stimulation or prevention. Swelling can also be positively influenced by the compressive bandage material

Bandages are functional aids that are used for reduced or diseased function of the musculoskeletal system. Various manufacturers offer ready-made supports. We complete our range with any custom-made products that may be required, which are produced in our own workshop.

SPORT

For various sports disciplines, support options adapted to the sport are required.

Examples:

• Face masks for athletes
• Knee braces for motocrossers
• Sports bandages
• Sports insoles for cyclists, ice hockey players, etc.

REHA

• Walking sticks and walking frames
• Rollators and wheelchairs
• Construction of seat shells and devices on wheelchairs
• Conversions to bicycles and scooters for the disabled

SILICON TECHNOLOGY

Silicones have a unique range of properties that no other material can match. Pure, medical-grade silicones are very skin-friendly, adhere well to the skin, are easy to care for and hygienic. Silicones of different hardnesses can be processed using different techniques.
Silicone is used in scar treatment, prosthetics and orthotics.

For example, we manufacture:

• Custom-made silicone liners for arm and leg prostheses
• Toe and finger retraction splints
• Pressure pads for scar treatment

Children

Children are not small adults and need child-specific orthopaedics. Movement sequences are subject to age-related and development-dependent dynamics. The conditions are constantly changing. The growth plates are open, soft and sensitive in childhood. Skin, soft tissue and tissue are susceptible to pressure points and react quickly to overloading.
