ORTHOTICS

Orthotics (splints) are aids used to stabilize, relieve, immobilize, guide, or correct affected parts of the body.

PROSTHETICS

Prostheses are functional and cosmetic replacements for missing or amputated limbs and also serve to improve body statics and symmetry.

COMPRESSION THERAPY

Compression therapy is considered the basic treatment for venous and lymphatic disorders, as well as for the aftercare of scars. Compression garments are also commonly used in the postoperative phase of plastic reconstructive surgery.

Thrombosis stockings

Light compression stockings for thrombosis prevention, for example during pregnancy and long journeys.

Phlebology (venous disorders)

These compression stockings are circular knit, without seams. They are available in different compression classes, colors, and designs. The supple, elastic knit promotes blood circulation. These stockings are available in standard sizes or custom-made.

Lymphology

Lymphatic lipoedema (drainage disorders of the lymphatic system, fat distribution disorders).
Stockings are recommended after manual lymphatic drainage. Elastic flat-knit materials are primarily used here. These materials enable better anatomical shaping, for example in the backs of the knees and elbows. Pads, pockets, zippers, etc. can be incorporated as desired. These stockings are available in various compression classes, colors, and patterns.
These products are available as custom-made items for the hand, arm, torso, and legs.

Burns

Various elastic textiles are used here.
Compression is used to prevent excessive collagen formation in scar tissue. Proliferations, keloids, and scar contractures are treated through the targeted use of pressure pads and silicone molded parts. These can be quite rigid. The constant surface pressure allows the scars to heal faster and reduces edema and annoying itching.
These custom-made products are available in various qualities, compression classes, and colors.

Scar treatment

After accidents or operations, it may be necessary to apply targeted scar treatment using various elastic textiles and silicone pressure pads.

Postoperative

Compression garments after plastic surgery.
Supports the various layers of skin and reduces the formation of edema and hematomas. This garment should be organized before the operation if possible and brought along on the day of the procedure.
The products are available in standard and custom-made versions.

Accessories

Gloves, dressing aids, etc. are discussed in detail with the client each time new stockings are fitted and tried on if necessary.

INSOLES

Shoe insoles are custom-made based on computer-assisted analyses.
We distinguish between:

Classic insoles:

These are supportive, relieving, mechanically acting foot supports. The foot follows the shape. It is passively corrected in its position. This can restrict dynamic movement processes. These insoles can be used, for example, for diabetic foot problems or after surgery.

Proprioceptive insoles:

are insoles that influence the foot muscles through muscle pre-tensioning and are designed to bring them into a better physiological starting position.

Neuromuscular insoles (NMS)

When using neuromuscular soles (Podo-Orthesen®), the body's own network is utilized. Stimulating the foot muscles can influence the entire body posture.
The neuromuscular sole method is based on the theoretical principles of French neurologist Prof. Dr. René-Jacques Bourdiol, Paris.

BANDAGES

Bandages are used for selective relief, stabilization, muscle stimulation, or prevention. Swelling can also be positively influenced by the compressive bandage material.

Bandages are functional aids that are used when the musculoskeletal system is impaired or diseased. Various manufacturers offer ready-made bandages. We complete our range with any necessary custom-made products, which are manufactured in our own workshop.

SPORT

Various sports disciplines require support options that are adapted to the specific sport.

Examples:

• Face masks for athletes
• Knee braces for motocross riders
• Sports bandages
• Sports insoles for cyclists, ice hockey players, etc.

REHABILITATION

• Walking sticks and walking frames
• Walkers and wheelchairs
• Construction of seat shells and devices for wheelchairs
• Disability-friendly modifications to bicycles and scooters

SILICONE TECHNOLOGY

Silicones have a unique range of properties that no other material can match. Pure, medical-grade silicones are very skin-friendly, adhere well to the skin, are easy to care for, and hygienic. Silicones of varying hardness can be processed using different techniques.
Silicone is used in scar treatment, prosthetics, and orthotics.

CHILDREN

Children are not small adults and require orthopedic care specific to their needs. Their movements are subject to age- and development-dependent dynamics. Conditions are constantly changing. Growth plates in children are open, soft, and sensitive. Skin, soft tissue, and other tissues are susceptible to pressure points and react quickly to excessive strain.
