is a family-owned company and a leading provider of sewer cleaning and road sludge disposal services in northwestern Switzerland. With a crew of around 100, over 35 high-performance vehicles, and the latest high-tech equipment, we provide our services to private homeowners, businesses, industry, and the public sector. We are one of the largest and most important providers in Switzerland in the field of sewer services (sewer cleaning, manhole emptying, drain unblocking, sewer TV, sewer rehabilitation, leak testing). Fair and personal contact with customers, suppliers, and employees is important to us and is our family's credo.

Gentle cleaning instead of renovation

Regular and gentle cleaning by a sewer cleaning professional prevents blockages, flooding, unpleasant odors, and high follow-up costs. Both our small flushing machines with suction trailers and our large trucks flush with the necessary high pressure and plenty of water. In addition, each vehicle is equipped with a versatile range of tools and a TV camera. Limescale and deposits don't stand a chance. With regular inspections, even minor damage can be detected early and repaired at a lower cost. A maintenance plan drawn up by us saves time and money.

In the event of a blockage or flooding, our experienced specialists will be on site quickly. Unique to Marquis: we always carry all seals, spare parts, and tools for all common standards and types in our vehicles. In addition, the excellent training and further education of our service technicians guarantees that the work is carried out with the utmost care.

Sludge is thicker than water

Whether for emergency or preventive emptying and cleaning, Marquis has a range of powerful suction vehicles available to suit the local situation and requirements. From suction trailers and suction/flushing trucks to special vehicles for the mobile treatment of wet waste on site. Marquis provides professional maintenance of separation systems such as grease separators, mineral oil separators, small sewage treatment plants, and paint separators.

So that everything doesn't go down the drain

The proper disposal of special wastewater and sludge is an important factor in environmental protection. Professional environmental management prevents soil and water pollution under all circumstances. As an efficient waste disposal company, we advise and assist private individuals, companies, and municipalities in these matters.

Emptying street drains with the latest suction recycling vehicles

The Federal Office for the Environment (FOEN) and the Office for Environmental Protection Basel Land (AUE BL) have drawn up new guidelines for emptying road drains. The new guidelines stipulate that no contaminated backwash water may be discharged into the drains when emptying road drains. This means that sludge collectors must be emptied using officially approved suction recycling vehicles. The official approvals must be issued by the respective cantons in which such recycling suction work takes place. As an innovative company, Marquis AG began designing its own suction recycling vehicle many years ago.
With these special vehicles, which have been further developed to meet the requirements of the Swiss market, sludge can be dewatered on site, the water returned, and the volume-reduced sludge disposed of in an environmentally friendly manner. We currently have four MAK (mobile separation and conditioning) recycling vehicles and one Küpfer recycling vehicle in service for cantons and municipalities.

Sewer TV and leak testing

In addition to sewer cleaning services, Marquis established and expanded the field of professional sewer TV.

Another high-tech specialty is accredited leak testing. As a neutral and independent testing agency, we carry out these tests strictly in accordance with Swiss specifications.

We are happy to advise our customers on possible renovation methods and offer the work through our subsidiary Aquatec-Kanalsanierungen AG.
