David and Joëlle Comte form a pairing that is as friendly as it is surprising. The young entrepreneurs have decided to put their compassion and their empathy at the service of those affected by grief.

Since August 1, 2011, we have created, in Bassecourt and Delémont, the family business Accompagnement Comte Pompes funèbres. While David has already been in the business for several years, we are the youngest to operate in the canton of Jura. A youthfulness that somewhat reshapes the image of the function and is appreciated by bereaved families.

Accompaniment, prevoyance death, repatriation, funeral services for all religions and beliefs are offered by Joëlle and David Comte. The company also has a private mortuary in Bassecourt, the "Pavillon de l'Adieu", as well as a ceremony room. In addition, our friend and collaborator Patrick Cortat has joined us to strengthen this family business.

Listening to ever-increasing requests, we decided to turn our attention gently to ecology.

First of all, we recently acquired two new vehicles. The first, a Mercedes Osiris CDI hearse, meets EU5 standard norms with CO2 emissions reduced to 13%. The second, a Renault Twizy, a fully electric car, which we use mainly to meet families to carry out all the administrative formalities.

From a practical point of view, the Twizy is a very useful vehicle for us.

Finally, we also offer ecological funerals and some new ecological funeral items, namely natural coffins and biodegradable urns, totally respectful of our environment.

To assure you of our professionalism, the Comte company has signed the code of honor of the Swiss Funeral Services Association as well as that of the Association Jurassiennes des entreprises familiales.
