The music publisher WYNOSA-EWOTON was founded in Benglen in 1999 by Werner Wyss. The owner and founder, Werner Wyss, has over 23 years of experience in selling brass band music and musical instruments.

He noticed that there was a need for a music platform that would connect composers and publishers of Swiss wind and folk music. This marked the birth of WYNOSA, a distribution center for independent and small publishers.

In 2003, a distribution agreement was signed with EWOTON Musikverlag in Queidersbach (Germany). The repertoire of Bohemian-Moravian wind music with its great role models: Ernst Mosch, Elmar Wolf, Jan Slabak, and many others is a valuable addition to the WYNOSA range. In addition, EWOTON offers a variety of light music, symphonic wind music, and interesting recordings.

In 2005, WYNOSA took over Hug-Foetisch Verlag. This enriched the range of Swiss brass music with well-known march composers: Guido Anklin, Roger Volet, J.F. Zbinden, and others. Small ensembles will also find tried-and-tested dances for social occasions in the rich collections of Gotfried Stucki and E. Ruchet.

In 2007, with the delivery of Geiger - Musicservice (D), the range of light music in particular was expanded. Many editions are also available for big band formations.
