It's no coincidence that the guitar is one of the most self-taught instruments around.

Many of the great guitarists never had lessons and certainly couldn't read music properly. They listened carefully to what others were playing and tried to find out with their own hands what grabbed them about their playing. One note at a time. Over and over again. Until it sounded at least almost like the recording of their role model.

In XXXX hours, they continued to work on their craft and slowly discovered the "secrets of the fretboard". 

And with each new experience of success, the horizon for their own grooves, melodies, riffs and songs widened....
