Openness and honesty are essential for the success of orthodontic treatment. Only when the patient, parents and I as the practitioner pull together can we achieve our common goals.

For this reason, consultation and an open discussion with everyone involved are the be-all and end-all of any treatment.

Course of the treatment

• First appointment: Clarification of needs and wishes, brief orientation on therapeutic options and costs of tooth correction, initial photo documentation if required
• Second appointment: Preparation of diagnostic documentation (X-rays, models, photos) and planning
• Third appointment: Discussion of therapeutic options and definitive offer 

As no two patients are the same and for this reason not everything can be planned 100%, we check at every follow-up session whether the treatment is going as planned. This depends on factors such as the patient's cooperation, the individual reaction to the treatment and, last but not least, oral hygiene. In some cases, the planning must therefore be adapted to the course of the treatment.

 

The duration of orthodontic treatment varies greatly and can last up to three years, rarely longer. The costs vary and depend on the complexity and difficulty of the measures.
