Veloladen Bern GmbH Jørgensen

Since 1989, the MTB CYCLETECH bike shop has been a household name in the Bern bike scene. In 2002, Klaus Jørgensen took over the business, which he had been running since 1995, at its new location at Murtenstrasse 221. In March 2004, Lari Jørgensen, the eldest son, joined the team to complement it with his technical expertise.

It was he who introduced the whole family to mountain biking and won the first Swiss downhill championship title in 1992. In 1993, there were even three Jørgensens in the national team at the same time. Sari celebrated various downhill successes in the following years, including a world championship title and World Cup victories.

Klaus Loosli has been part of the team for years. He is a passionate touring cyclist, gravel biker, and mountain biker from the very beginning. Klaus not only knows the most beautiful trails in Valais, but also the best bakeries to visit! He gives us great feedback on what works in extreme conditions, runs the workshop in the bike shop, and is happy to advise you on your new bike. When the weather is bad, Klaus is a frame builder and solder beautiful custom steel frames; when the weather is good, he is out biking.

Lari, an enthusiastic mountain biker and former racer and team mechanic (Volvo Cannondale), as well as Klaus 1 and Klaus 2 (Loosli), of course, are passionate about their work and can benefit from their experience and pass it on to their customers.
