If you have already passed the exams, not all of the certificates and courses mentioned here are required for additional categories.

1. Emergency assistance course:

Anybody applying for a category A, A1, B or B1 learner's permit must provide proof that they have completed the course on immediate life-saving measures (emergency assistance course). The course must be held at a recognized organization and must not have been completed more than 6 years ago.

1. Fill out the form completely and answer all questions

2. Take an eye test at an optician's store. The result will be entered directly on the application form. Eye tests must not be older than 24 months.

3. Two colour passport photos are required for registration.

4. The residents' registration office in your place of residence must confirm your identity when you submit your application for the first time.

3. Theory test

Once you have been admitted to the theory test, you are entitled to take the theory test. (Does not count as a learner's license). To prepare for the theory test, I recommend the free website of www.boegele.ch or a learning CD. If you have any questions, you are welcome to call me.

4. learner's license

Once you have passed the theory test and reached the minimum age, you will receive your learner's license by post. (Confirmation of passing the test does not count as a learner's permit. You are only allowed on the road once you have your learner's permit. Remember: the co-driver must be at least 23 years old and have held a driver's license for at least 3 years.)

5. Traffic knowledge

The VKU lessons must be completed by the time you register for the practical test at the latest.

6. Practical driving test

I will register you for the practical test at the traffic office when the training has been completed.

7. Driving license

After passing the driving test, you will receive your driving license directly from the traffic office against payment.
