August 6, 2018 | Anonymous userThe restaurant was purchased by Mr. and Mrs. Paul Fillistorf in 1949. They managed it until 1959, during which time they created the famous recipe for our Lake Geneva Perch Fillets. From 1949 to 1976, the restaurant was under management.
Then, in 1976, Mr. and Mrs. Roger Fillistorf took over the family business until July 1999.
In July 1999, Mr. and Mrs. Roger Fillistorf sold the restaurant to Mr. Matos, who had been the maître d' since 1991, and his wife.
Since then, they have strived to preserve the warm atmosphere and old-world decor, as well as the famous recipe for Lake Geneva perch fillets, allowing diners to savor traditional, seasonal cuisine.
Enjoying a naturally shaded terrace and the sound of the Brassus stream, where Richard Burton spent many peaceful moments, the entire team at the Buffet de la Gare looks forward to welcoming you.
