Geneva Dance Center – Contacts & Location
Description
The Geneva Dance Center, run by Samantha and Julien Allen Bancillon since 2009, was founded in 1980 by Claudine and David Allen. It is a school of classical dance, with a section reserved for anyone wishing to dance without considering a career, as well as a professional training section.
The school has trained many young people who are currently dancing all over the world in leading companies. The school's priority is the teaching of Classical Ballet.

The Geneva Dance Center has 3 studios, including a 200 and a 100 m², equipped with a floating floor covered with special linoleum adapted to classical dance, and a 45 m² Pilates Studio. Changing rooms and showers cater to the needs of students, and there is a parking lot underneath the school with direct access to it. Shopping center and cafeteria on the first floor.

Entry to these classes is open to everyone, from the age of 4. The only requirement is a love of dance.
Professional Training 1 and 2
Auditions all year round
For Professional Training, Monday to Saturday at 10:30am.
For Pre-Professional Training, every Wednesday at 3:00pm.
The "lejeuneballet.ch" ballet company is made up of student dancers from the Professional Training classes.
Entry to these classes and to "lejeuneballet.ch" is subject to an audition, in the form of a class, which will determine the child's potential. Students, aged 11 to 18, have from 12 to 35 hours of classes a week, depending on their level and academic background.
In addition to classical ballet, which is the priority, with learning and perfecting classical technique, the program includes classes in pointe, pas de deux and variations, as well as contemporary and Pilates.
The school offers partial or full scholarships to gifted students every year. The school is a member of the Écoles De la Fédération Suisse des Ecoles de Danse (FSED).
