We are trained in diabetic feet. A diabetic foot is treated with special care, i.e. a purely medical treatment is carried out. Embellishments or cosmetic procedures are superfluous or even unfavorable due to micro-injuries and thus a greater risk of infection.
Due to the late effects of diabetes, such as poor wound healing, nerve and vascular damage, inappropriate treatment often results in damage that can lead to surgical treatment, including the amputation of a toe or entire foot. Even a small infection can have fatal consequences for a diabetic. This is why hygiene is the top priority in our podiatry practice!
We guarantee the highest standard of hygiene for all podiatry treatments.
