The oldest and most authentic distillery in the region, the Schneider distillery welcomes you with open arms to share its love of local products. Located in Cornol, the Schneider distillery will delight fans of artisanally distilled products.

Founded almost a century ago, the distillery was taken over in 2005 by Frédéric and Raluca Schneider, who have been working there with passion and expertise ever since. In addition to the in-house production of their specialties, Frédéric and Raluca also carry out custom distilling for their loyal clientele.

By appointment, visit the distillery, watch the production process and taste the various specialties of eaux-de-vie, liqueurs and honeys, which you can then buy on site in the traditional boutique.

Les Vergers
A visit and tasting is a must for any walk in the region, especially in spring. Take a stroll through the Paplemont orchards, just a few minutes from the distillery. You'll be overwhelmed by the beauty and poetry of the surroundings...

The boutique
A welcoming boutique, located within the distillery grounds, offers you all the house's much-loved products, which Raluca elegantly wraps and dresses in elegant baskets and gift boxes. A true house tradition and, for you, the assurance of giving pleasure. Whether you pick them up or have them delivered, they'll always be ready on time.

Damassine, an emblematic product of the Jura
Damassine brandy was awarded the AOC "Damassine" label in spring 2010, following a decision by the Swiss Federal Court. Frédéric Schneider was at the forefront of the case as a member of the Inteprofession de la Damassine committee.
A true ambassador for the Jura, and Ajoie in particular, Damassine is the third eau-de-vie to obtain an AOC, after Abricotine and Eau-de-vie de poire du Valais.

Damassine AOC and damasson rouge or prune de Damas
A clause in the AOC dossier stipulates that the fruit of the damassin tree will henceforth be called "damasson rouge" or "prune de Damas", while the name "Damassine" will be reserved for the eau-de-vie.

Medals 2013
Again this year, our brandies received medals at the Marché-Concours suisse des produits du terroir.
Gold medals for the plum and fir bud brandies, two further bronze medals, as well as two nominations for the Prix d'excellence.
