Naturopathy:
Naturopathy is a set of methods and techniques that promote the maintenance and improvement of health. Naturopathy teaches that all living beings are animated by a vital force that conditions self-healing in the event of illness.
Naturopathy dates back to ancient times, from the priests of Upper Egypt to the doctors of Ancient China. Hippocrates learned medicine on the island of Kos, the center of naturopathy at the time, and Christ received the same teaching in Egypt, India, and from the Essenes.
It is a set of methods and techniques that promote the maintenance and improvement of health. These methods promote the restoration of health and also teach that every living being is animated by a vital force that conditions self-healing in case of illness.
In every sick person, there is a healthy part that fights, and it is this healthy part that must be helped.
For naturopaths, illness is a build-up of toxins and healing is a cleansing process that involves eliminating toxins from fluids (blood, lymph, cellular serums) and cleansing the body (nervous system, endocrine glands).
A health assessment is made based on observations of energy, emotions, organs, functions, toxins, and bodily tension.
A dozen TECHNIQUES will be applied to detoxify, revitalize, and stabilize the body.
From the first consultation, based on a comprehensive medical history and assessment, a treatment plan is established.
Dietetics, nutritional therapy, medicinal plants, detoxification techniques, manual and medicinal therapeutic methods promote healing, alleviate illness, and strengthen health.
Dietetics:
Nutrition is the science of balanced eating. It studies the nutritional value of food, strengthens our ability to absorb nutrients (macronutrients), and helps us eliminate toxins more effectively.
Micronutrition:
We can become deficient in micronutrients for several reasons. Micronutrition identifies micronutritional needs. These include vitamins, minerals, trace elements, flavonoids, polyphenols, essential amino acids, polyunsaturated fatty acids, and more. They all have an impact on the body's adaptation mechanisms. Micronutrition has become an important part of conventional medicine.
Massages:
Massage is one of the oldest methods of treatment, a manual technique that releases tension, improves tissue irrigation, and enhances the elimination of lactic acid resulting from poor tissue oxygenation. Beyond promoting well-being, it also aids in physical and mental regeneration.
Foot reflexology:
This is a manual therapy based on the existence of reflex zones, nerve points in the feet, which represent all parts of the body. Massaging a reflex zone improves blood flow to that zone and the corresponding organ.
Holistic and educational approach:
This is based on the principle that we are lifelong learners. It is an approach that teaches us to raise our level of awareness through a variety of techniques involving touch on the whole body and feet.
Foot reading:
This reveals a self-image, potential, and the ability to restore balance in the four elements: air, fire, water, and earth. Each element represents a different energy and quality from the other elements. Every function of the body, organ, tissue, etc. is connected to the other four elements.
Human beings are capable of being what nature strives to be. Nature constantly seeks to maintain or restore a balance that generates and renews life.
Another manual therapeutic method: Muscular, neuro-articular, and visceral bone setting
Reboutage is based on thousands of years of empirical data. It is the oldest form of manual, preventive, and curative therapy. Through a series of mobilizations and muscular, neuro-articular, and visceral massages, it improves oxygenation, cleansing, reactivation, and restoration of the body's tissues.
