La Chambre des Notaires de Genève is a professional association that brings together all notaries in the canton of Geneva as soon as they are appointed by the State Council. The notary is your best advisor in many of life's circumstances.  La Chambre des Notaires  aims to promote a quality notary's office at the service of the community, specifically:

• ensure that its members comply with the rules of ethics it has set for itself

• to oversee the ongoing training of its members
• to arbitrate, at the request of the parties, conflicts that may arise between its members, or between them and their customers,
• to defend the interests of the profession

• On our site you'll find all the useful information you need about our members and the life of our Chamber, preparing for an appointment, how we're paid,and our professional rules. We offer a few clarifications on our main areas of activity.

• The secretariat provides information to the public by answering questions directly concerning the Chamber or the profession, or by directing requests to the appropriate contact (Chairman, Permanence, notary).  It supports the Chairman in the day-to-day tasks linked to his function (correspondence, events, follow-up of working sessions of the various commissions etc.).
