For 3 generations, the Ruckstuhls, artisan bakers at heart, have been making the breads, viennoiseries and pastries you'll find in their stores every night.
These craftsmen combine: Tradition, Terroir and Training

Every day in our Vieusseux laboratory, we try to innovate and create new items, as tastes change.
Jean-Charles, Alexandre and Walter, supported by their bakers and their 2 apprentices, make the products you can taste in their stores-tea-room every day.
Proof that the Ruckstuhls place great importance on training, in 2009 they were awarded the prize for the best training company in the canton of Geneva in the SHR (Service, Hôtellerie et Restauration) division.

At Ruckstuhl Bakery & Patisserie, we're always on the lookout for new trends
Particularity
Genève Région Terre Avenir is a state-funded local label. Combining different activities, it is Geneva's terroir brand. Products are grown and processed locally to promote the agriculture genvoise.
The bread is analyzed and GRTA-labeled.
We offer three types of bread.
Special breads
As bakery is our passion, we offer a large number of special breads (e.g. flax seed, sesame seed, health and sunflower bread etc.
More classic, in our display case are arranged multi-grain breads, peasant breads, sourdough breads (the tortillette), breads made on a long fermentation (one of our leaders), dark breads, wholemeal breads, two kinds of organic breads etc.
Every Saturday, we knead devil's bread, made with chili paste, tabasco and chili powder as well as sun-dried tomatoes and corn kernels.
Viennoiserie
Typically Fribourg and to be enjoyed at the end of the harvest, our cuchaules!
Our specialties: ten different kinds of croissants (butter, corn, wholemeal, almond, apricot, fig, coconut, blueberry, apple loaves made with croissant dough)...
Pastries
We offer traditional desserts and miniardises! We also have a specialty: the San Marco pie!
This egg cream sponge, mixed with sugar and burnt with a special iron will delight your taste buds! Inside, whipped cream... to be eaten iced or at room temperature.
According to the seasons, this is a special treat.
According to the season, we sometimes bring out other specialities, such as toblerone mousse...
The Tea Room
All our bakeries have a tea-room, except the one at Halle de rive.
Come and enjoy a pastry accompanied by a hot or cold drink in our Tea Room!
Since recently, we've been selling a purely Valais product, a fresh fruit juice with no preservatives or colorants from the Opaline brand!
