L'Etude was founded in 2000 upon the appointment of Me Gérard REYMOND at rue de la Rôtisserie 6 in Geneva.

Today, he has been ably succeeded by his son Me Hubert REYMOND, freshly licensed and sworn in by the Geneva State Council. The firm then moved to Rue de la Cité 3 in Geneva's old town.

Court bailiffs in Geneva

Judicial bailiffs act as ministerial officers in the same way as notaries and instrument independently throughout the canton of Geneva. With a numerus clausus of nine, the latter are appointed by the State Council and take an oath on taking up their duties. The profession is a liberal one, governed by the Bailiffs Act and the Bailiffs Regulations. The activities of judicial bailiffs include:
