Our history

Founded in 1987 with the opening of three diagnostic laboratories in Switzerland, the Unilabs group rapidly expanded by applying a strategy of acquiring quality partner laboratories across the European continent. In 2007, Unilabs merged with leading diagnostic imaging company Capio, present in Sweden, Norway, Finland, Denmark and the UK. With this merger, Unilabs became the undisputed leader in diagnostic services in Europe.

We have continued to expand our activities alongside our portfolio of cutting-edge diagnostic services, growing from a European company to a global player, with new offerings in genetic medicine and pathology among many other disciplines.
