FGPF Geneva Financial Center Foundation
The main objective of the Geneva Financial Center Foundation is to promote the development and influence of Geneva as a financial center.
Created in 1991 by the 80 member banks of the Geneva Stock Exchange, the Geneva Financial Center Foundation is the umbrella organization for the financial center.
Generating 35,600 jobs and contributing 12% of Geneva's GDP, the financial sector is based on three pillars: private and institutional asset management, commodity trading finance, and commercial and retail banking.
With activities such as maritime chartering and supervision, Geneva benefits from a center of expertise and a cluster that is unique in the world.
The Geneva Financial Center Foundation's main mission is to promote this value chain and work to develop optimal framework conditions for all partners in the financial center.
