Since its renovation in 1998, EMS La Terrassière now boasts more modern facilities that comply with the State's architectural guidelines.

The facility has 90 single rooms with en-suite bathrooms.

On the 8th floor, a large terrace overlooks the Eaux-Vives district. There, Geneva, its rooftops, its water jet, its cathedral and the grandiose panorama between Salève and Jura offer a different picture depending on the whims of the weather!

Tenderness, listening, respect, autonomy and independence, care, animation, encounters and emotion. It is by giving full meaning to each of these words that the residents of La Terrassière and their loved ones who place their trust in us can savor life.

In a warm and welcoming atmosphere, our team of entertainers encourages each resident to make the most of his or her own personality, and to play an active role in the quality of his or her life.

The entertainers constantly offer activities based on a variety of media, taking into account individual and/or group wishes and interests.

Regular outings to promote social life are not forgotten. The weekly program of activities is given to residents on Fridays for the following week.

With the aim of providing relational support and privileged accompaniment to residents, volunteers get involved by offering time and services.
