Salt cave features. Completely covered (from floor to ceiling) with sea salt crystals. The temperature is around 23 degrees Celsius.

 

There are no age restrictions for entry.

SALT CAVE

Salt has always been considered a precious commodity. In ancient Egypt, only pharaohs could be offered salt. It was used as a currency and, in Marco Polo's time, in certain regions of China, salt was exchanged for gold. In reality, salt was more important than gold for human survival. Let's not confuse table salt, which has been chemically cleaned (sodium chloride), with pure crystalline salt, or "natural rock salt." 95% of rock salt is rock salt, a product that retains its natural integrity. The main characteristic on which salt cave therapy is based is the presence of negative ions, which do not exceed two hundred particles in one cubic meter of city air, while in environments with ionized air they reach a thousand. Sea salt ions mainly act on respiration, improving the condition of the mucous membranes, bronchi, and respiratory tract in general. For this reason, sessions in the salt cave are mainly recommended to combat respiratory diseases such as:
