The companyPEDROJA was founded in Locarno on 1920 by sculptor Sem Pedroja, was later taken over by his grandsons Maurilio, Stefano and Ermanno who continued and improved the family business, creating a true leading name in the construction and funerary industry.

The company Pedroja with their son Othmar, became more specialized in funerary art by increasing the demands for hand carvings and engravings on funerary monuments thanks to its sculptors and stonemasons specializing in marble and granite.

To date, the company has not only stopped at processing and trading natural stone, but over the years has also included artificial agglomerates in slabs, synthesized stones, recomposed quartz and mosaics; to keep up with modern construction innovation.
