are you snoring ...
the loss of muscle tone during sleep causes a narrowing of the upper airways. this narrowing accelerates the flow of air, causing the various structures in the area of the upper airways to flutter and cause the snoring sound we are familiar with. snoring is therefore a mechanical process that can be counteracted mechanically. this is where dental therapy comes into play. mild or primary snoring has  no health consequences, but rhonchopathy and pathological snoring do.

the snoring splint i have made (product name silensor-sl) requires an impression of the upper and lower jaw.
