History. On October 1, 1985, Dominique Arbellay founded his company in Erdesson/Grône. His workshop measured only 64 m2. It was in this cradle that he forged his reputation as a serious and skilled craftsman.
In the plains. In 1991, in order to cope with the ever-increasing number of orders, he built a workshop in Le Chablé in Granges, in the municipality of Sierre. It is there, in the heart of the Rhône plains, that he continues his activities.
Change. On January 1, 2009, the company became a public limited company, now known as "Arbellay Dominique Menuiserie SA, Granges."
A challenge. On June 6, 2009, a fire destroyed the entire workshop and all the machinery. But the company refused to give up! The reconstruction took eleven months, during which time it relocated its activities. Then, on May 3, 2010, it restarted in a brand new workshop. This beautiful work tool was inaugurated on Saturday, November 6, 2010, a date that also marked its 25th anniversary.
Services. While the company originally restored and manufactured custom-made furniture, it has now diversified into the manufacture of joinery, doors, cabinets, general carpentry, countersinking, the installation of PVC doors and windows, the fitting out of villas and chalets, general cabinetmaking, etc. Staircases in all their forms remain its specialty. It designs, manufactures, and installs these products throughout French-speaking Switzerland.
Our professionals. Arbellay Dominique Menuiserie SA has surrounded itself with professional craftsmen. Since its creation, a young and dynamic team has earned the trust of a loyal customer base. Today, ten employees and three apprentices offer meticulous and reliable work.
