Banz Optik GmbH was a long-standing optician shop located at Centralstrasse 12 in Grenchen, celebrating its 100th anniversary in October 2023. Led by Martin Banz, the company offered comprehensive optical services, including eye exams, glasses, and contact lenses. The business was well-known for its local roots and won first place in the window display competition organized by the Grenchen Trade Association. Due to the lack of a succession plan, operations ceased at the end of June 2024, and the company has been in liquidation since July 2025.
