Oh, yes! From spring to fall, a warming ray of sunshine and a refreshing mountain breeze blowing through the fir trees almost always greet you on our terrace in the morning. Let your eyes wander over the Grindelwald valley up to the mountains of the Jungfrau region.

Freshly fortified, you can then set off under the motto: the mountain is calling! A pleasant mountain breeze blows over the alpine meadows, with the occasional glistening rays of sunshine hidden behind white spring clouds. Back in the Caprice garden, the Kneipp magic invites you to enjoy an ice-cold footbath.

The wellness offer in the Caprice Oasis gets everyone going again.

The Caprice kitchen will surprise you on our theme evenings with Swiss specialties or freshly grilled dishes. A good drop of wine from Glarner's cellar rounds off the vacation in the best possible way. For guests who prefer daily half-board, we work together with our good neighbors from the restaurant 'Edelweiss-Stuben'. The restaurant is located 50 meters from our hotel.

The low-temperature infrared cabins from Physiotherm work within the thermoneutral zone (air temperature between 27 and 37°C). At an air temperature of approx. 30°C, the back is heated evenly and contact-free with infrared radiation by a specially developed radiator (ceramic radiator filled with lava sand). The heat is therefore only applied locally, over 10 to 12% of the skin surface (ideally the back), through uninterrupted infrared radiation.

Our panorama restaurant offers you a rich breakfast buffet every morning. Fresh bread rolls and croissants, cold meats and cheeses, fresh egg dishes, crunchy muesli, fruit salad and much more ensure a perfect start to the day.

Whether an extensive "Caprice" breakfast as a starting point for a hike or ski tour or a quick, sweet breakfast before the "lazy day" on your vacation - in our panorama restaurant between 7:30 and 10:30 a.m. no breakfast wishes remain unfulfilled. There are also lovingly prepared coffee specialties and a large selection of tea variations.

In the evening, we offer half-board guests the opportunity to enjoy a 5-course menu at a reduced price
(CHF 35.00 instead of CHF 42.00) in the neighboring Edelweiss-Stube restaurant every day (except Tuesdays)

You won't find show cooking on our 1 to 2 themed evenings per week - instead we offer you highlights of regional Swiss cuisine:

From traditional fondue chinoise to a cozy barbecue evening to the Swiss national dish: the cheese fondue, we invite our guests twice a week to changing culinary themes!
