One of the most modern printing plants in Switzerland and one of the largest in eastern Switzerland has been created under the umbrella of the Appenzeller Volksfreund (Appenzell) printing cooperative as the parent company. Around one hundred highly trained employees and modern machinery guarantee top quality and an optimum price-performance ratio.

Appenzeller Druckerei AG runs a small publishing house and its own web agency anderthalb.ch. In Appenzell, it publishes and produces the local Innerrhoden newspaper Appenzeller Volksfreund and the advertising paper for Gais and Bühler, as well as preparing news for the online portal appenzell24.ch.
